12 o’clock on New Years Eve calls for celebration. But that specific time, also seems to be an awkward moment magnet. Like the single friend waiting as their coupled-up friends wish each other happy New Year. Or the people who would rather avoid to be hugging and kissing

To make everyone feel connected in those first few seconds of the year, we introduced Connected Countdown. Friends or people themselves could easily sign up through KPN’s website. They received a link that connected them to a random stranger, to wish each other a quick happy New Years at 12 o’clock!
